Adding Value
Adding Value to your business
Do you need insight into the value of your business and your entrepreneurial qualities? My services will add value in various ways, including a substantiated business valuation. In preparing a good valuation report, I also take into account your entrepreneurial qualities to reflect this aspect. A business valuation will reflect the economic value of your business or project.
Why a business Valuation
Why is determining the economic value important? This is important because the economic value reflects what all future cash flows are worth as of the value date. This will offer insight into what the company or a project is worth for you.
A collaboration always starts with an initial meeting so we can determine how I can add value for you. The starting point of any process is to really understand what inspires you as an entrepreneur and what your vision and strategy is. Understanding your business model is a prerequisite for arriving at a good analysis, with the goal of a well-founded business valuation. The financial numbers are important, but without the story of you as a business owner, they don’t provide direction. What opportunities do you see as an entrepreneur and how do these opportunities translate into investments and returns? Every business is unique and therefore a valuation requires customisation. As a Register Valuator, I interpret such data to arrive at the valuation, making use of your perspective.

BUSINESS VALUATION
To properly interpret and assess forward looking expectations, a sharp business analysis is necessary. This analysis allows me to create a risk profile of your business and also establish the associated cash flows. The economic value is determined by future cash flows and, in addition, by quantifying uncertainties. But future expectations are uncertain, therefore future cash flows are subject to factors of time and risk.
The economic value represents what all future cash flows are worth as of the value date. This will offer insight into what the company or a project is worth for you. You will need a business valuation in the following situations.

About me
You are looking for someone with years of experience in understanding business models and determining the earning potential of companies. You need someone experienced in working with both SMEs and larger international companies. Each business is unique, with its own characteristics, revenue model, position in the market and associated challenges. For example, some companies benefit from economic buoyancy and want to continue growing. They encounter different issues than companies in heavy weather, that need more short-term solutions. I worked on their challenges during my time in Special Credits. You can count on me for sound advice in any of those circumstances. As a Register valuator, I can add value to your business.
I studied Business Administration at Erasmus University, graduating with honours. This encompassed subjects such as strategic management, innovation and entrepreneurship. After working as a business consultant, I attended the Business Valuation programme at Business University Nyenrode to acquire further specialised knowledge.
As a Register Valuator, I am subject to the disciplinary rules of the relevant professional association (NIRV) and comply with behavioural and quality requirements, including continuing education. As a business owner, you can rely on my skills and knowledge of the prevailing notions in the field and that your business valuation is conducted professionally, carefully and with integrity.
People around me describe me as professional, ethical, ambitious, eager to learn, sharp, entrepreneurial and results-oriented. These strengths help me to add value in any situation – for you and your business.
